The winter white RPL pair of pants is now cut and ready to sew.
A winter storm is predicted for us tonight here in the north central Texas area. Icy roads are expected in the morning with temperatures staying below freezing for several days. It's OK; we have plenty of dog food and treats, cat food and treats and donkey food. Oh, and the fridge is stocked well for DH and me. Yesterday it was almost 80, and I was running the A/C in the car. This is Texas.,
As long as we maintain power, I plan to spend most of the day tomorrow in the sewing room. I'm thankful that I have no reasons to be on the roads tomorrow. This retirement gig is really fun! Of course, there is the possibility it won't be as bad as predicted. We'll know tomorrow morning.
Stay tuned....
I hope you keep power and stay safe. The weather is so weird these days!
ReplyDeleteAs a result of your post yesterday I now own the New Look 6110 also. I love the look of slim pants with a longer top, but I'm a few years older than you, so a little old for leggings. And the photo on the pattern envelope looks like these really are slim-legged, not just baggy up top and tapered to a narrow leg opening. I'm sure I'll have to scoop out the crotch and add length to the back rise, but I can see these pants actually fitting me. Maybe I'll be able to wear something besides skirts and dresses! :-)
I just discovered your blog. Do you ever post photos of your self in your makes? I would love to see you in your white pants when you finish them.
