Progress
Sewing a couple of hours yesterday and today, I have the jacket sewn together minus the shoulder seams and the lining sewn together and attached to the fabric front facing. I'll watch Peggy's webcast this evening and go from there tomorrow. How do you like that lining color? I love it!
I do hope this jacket comes out well, but only time will tell................
On another subject, check out these itty bitty 9" circular needles. When I saw this size the first time, I just HAD to have them. I've now collected sizes 1, 2, 3, and 6. I have additional sizes on the way from fabric.com.
I'm using them to knit socks. Of course, I'll have to go to dpn's to knit the heel and turn it. After getting the gusset going, I plan to go back to the itty bitty circulars until the toe gets too small to go further. Up to this point, I've used dpns for knitting socks, but I always hated that I would sometimes get "ladders" as I went from one needle to the next. These tiny circulars take care of that issue.
Hopefully, there will be more jacket progress to report tomorrow. Time will tell.............
