More Charity Work

The project for this year's ASG convention is children's pillow cases for the Ronald McDonald House. Our neighborhood group tries to participate each year. The convention is in July so I decided to begin getting some sewn this afternoon.

Went through the stash and found my 100% cotton prints that I thought appropriate. ASG requested bright colors.

Here are five I completed today. A couple I made with no contrasting band; some made with the contrast. I'm happy with them. Some airplanes, some birds, some horses (you'd know I'd have some horse fabric), some flags, some scarecrows......Here's hoping these will bring smiles to some of the little faces that will rest on them.

  1. Those look great, Linda! My group will be sewing them in April, and I'm hoping to take the opportunity to clear some of those (what was I thinking?) cottons out of my closet.

Great idea for using some of the novelty cottons that don't have a purpose and cute pillowcases- hope vet school daughter doesn't see the horse ones. mssewcrazy
