I had hoped to get back with you before now, but life has been busy. I'm not complaining, just explaining.

| The nasty copperhead that bit one of the dogs a few weeks ago. Nasty looking, Huh? |
 |
| "Indy" in prep for "THE OPERATION" and, yes, he came thru it fine. |
 |
| The new rescue "Pup Pup" likes to sleep with this leg on her head; almost like she is trying to block out room noise. |
 |
| Nothing better than a home grown tomato! |
 |
| The bell peppers are pretty this year. |
 |
| Cantaloupe in the making. |
 |
| Coneflowers - the butterflies LOVE them |
I did make it to the sewing room today. I am working on this
Cynthia Rowley pattern, but I'm making a blouse rather than a dress. I found a silk skirt at a thrift shop. I purchased for the fabric - liked the colors; got it home and it fit! A well spent $5.
I'm sewing this blouse specifically for this skirt. Hope to be able to show it to you in the next couple of days. Actually, I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow. I've muslined it, made some adjustments, added french darts and the final fabric is cut.
So, hopefully, I'll be back with photos soon!
The poor dog. Shees! I saw a snake in my yard a couple of days ago-I live on a lake. I ran in the house and locked the door. Ha! Like that would help anything.
ReplyDeleteA few of our neighbors having been reporting copperheads in their yards....and we live in suburban Baltimore! Hope your dog recovered. I like that Cynthia Rowley pattern so will be eager to see your blouse.
ReplyDeleteI feel for your poor dog.
ReplyDeleteThe CR dress will look great, I'm sure.
