Clothlesline Tote Bag

Martha of  Now Sewing requested a photo of my clothesline tote bag.  I made two of these bags - one for myself (the one pictured here) and a second one for my ASG Christmas Exchange.

I'm sorry to say that I failed to get a photo of the bag that now resides with one of my sewing guild friends.  It was made the same way, but with different colorway fabrics.

I enjoyed making these bags.  If  you do a search on YOUTUBE , you will find many tutorials for making bowls from cotton clothesline.  Covering the clothesline with fabric strips can be time consuming, but not hard at all.  I used two packages of 100 ft. clothesline for each of the totes.

I'm am currently in the process of cleaning, rearranging, and decluttering the sewing room.  It's a job, but it is way overdue, and I will feel so much better when it's all done.  I'm only able to work on it a little each day.  I'm hoping to be finished next week.
