Friend Eve and I received postcards from C&C Fabrics (Dallas) on Monday of this week stating that "Everything Must Go--Deep Discounts!) We had wondered a few months ago if they might be closing. I became so bummed as that is where I get so many of my beautiful $1/yd fabrics and lovely quilting cottons.
So as to get some of the "goodies" before they were all picked over, we headed out yesterday morning. The big sign outside the door read "50% Off." We went in and began our "swan song." As soon as we could speak with the saleslady, we told her how sad we both were that they were closing. She replied, "oh, we're not closing, we are moving to another building here on Perth Street." What a relief!!!! Eve and I were thrilled. The urgency to "stock up" was not go great, but did we buy fabric? Of course we did!
