Button Bust!

Well, it looks like a 40+ mile oneway trip to Pursleys will be in order next week.

After my work at the Animal Hospital, I headed for Hancocks/Joanns (they are within a few blocks of each other and are only about 20 miles away). I was going to pick up a few of the Vogue's on sale (if my size was available) at Hancocks, AND I was hoping to find some bright buttons for the Burda dress.

I knew the selection(s) at both places would be limited, but I had hopes. But nothing that I was happy with--NOTHING. Shucks!

I did come home with 4 Vogues from Hancocks and nothing, nada, from Joanns. I did make a couple of non-sewing related stops, so I maximized the gasoline for the trip.

I was able to work on the KS skirt yesterday, and it's well on its way to completion. I'll take a photo tomorrow, and, maybe I'll even finish it.
