Remember I told you I ran short of fabric for the Vogue blouse? When it came time to cut the front facings I pulled out some soft white cotton and thought, this will do the trick. THEN I REMEMBERED that part of the facing would show where the collar opens. HMM.....I must cut a piece of fashion fabric for the part that will turn back. Here's what I did:
Today I got as far as sewing on the collar and facings so here's what I have so far. My piecing of the facing appears to have worked!
I hope to get the sleeves in tomorrow. I also need to go through the button stash and see if I have anything that will work. I may want to go with black buttons. Think?

I think black buttons would really help that collar to belong. How smart you were to make the facing work.
