Go Felix!

Cowboys 27 Packers 16

Needless to say, I enjoyed the game last night.

Not much happening in the sewing room. I hope to have something to report on later today. We'll see.

Glad you are enjoying the football - lots of the games on. My dh is watching them as well.
No sewing here as I have been under the weather with allergy attack and had to go to get some better help like an ouch shot. The oop scrub pattern came in both size ranges from the seller yesterday. I had gotten the larger size pattern for moi and noticed that I really liked for me the button down one. Gee no sleeves to even set in as they are cut on. I think I found my personal uniform for next spring, summer and early fall. I hate spending much time on these clothes as they go to the laundry so much in our heat and I want to chuck them when I come inside and pull on clean ones. The horse and dogs always manage to leave marks/stains on me when I walk the dogs or water the horses. The horses love to give that wet sugar or the dogs put paw prints somewhere when they get excited and I always manage to get a cooking stain which you guessed gets spot treated and goes into the laundry. Only my nicer sewn things get special work. For around here it is one seam capris and simple top with machine sewn hems. I was using the coverstitch on knit tops but find the woven tops so much cooler. I look forward to trying this one next year. The pullover scrub top concerns me a bit at the point catching that v area at the point. I will need to be really careful there if I sew it for my daughter and find a reinforcing triangle stitch. I wonder how a tiny piece of ultrasuede would work there stitched down. I have lots of colors of that in stash from when I was appliqueing daughter's horse show clothes. mssewcrazy
