The Cowboys are lookin' good! On to Minnesota. And I love Brett Favre, but, sorry Brett, the Boys must win!
The frigid teen temps are beginning to break here. I finally was able to get water to the horse's water bucket today (without carrying it out in buckets from the house). The outside "freeze proof" faucet (which had been covered) has been frozen so it did no good to try to hook up a water hose.
Today, the temps were rising above the freezing mark and the sun was out. I heated the rice microwave warming bag and draped it around the faucet to try to warm the pipe. After the second "heating" the water finally flowed so I could hook up the hose. Yeah!!!!
I completed the pink cowl--well, I still need to weave in the yarn ends. Then I will get a photo.
I sorta feel like a cold is coming on. I hope it's just that I'm a bit tired and the sinus is just acting up a bit.
Still trying to decide what to sew when I can get back into the groove.
I don't imagine living so far south that you're used to such cold temps. In Michigan, we live in a frozen tundra, and pretty much have reconsiled to it.
ReplyDeleteHope your foot is better all the time. Ouchy!
Hello fellow Texan! Haven't the Cowboys been playing great? I sure hope they can keep it up.
ReplyDeleteYour idea to thaw the faucet is great. Good thinking. lol
I hope youre feeties are healing well. That must be very painful.
