Vogue Blouse WIP

It was almost 3:30 this afternoon before I could get to the sewing room. Yard work, grocery shopping, Post Office, exercise.......

The beginning of Vogue 8421 shown here:

The two front pieces are pinned to Saphroni as is the collar--just to give you an idea.

The fabric is linen (or could be a linen/cotton blend) that I purchased last summer at Pursley's in Duncanville, Texas. I got all that was left which was about 1.5 yds. "Assuming" I had enough fabric, I cut.....well, not quite enough length, so the back side princess piece had to be cut on the cross grain. I hope it doesn't cause a problem. The print is very forgiving so I don't think that will be a problem. Of course, then I didn't have enough to cut the collar....SOOOO, I pulled out the black linen that I purchased at that same time.

I decided to topstitch the black collar with white. I think I like that.

I hope I get to work on it some tomorrow.
