Thought I'd post a photo of me wearing the ruffle top since I had the outfit on yesterday.
I have almost completed another dress from the "thrift shop dress pattern." It's a linen blend floral from Hancock Fabrics. It needs a hem and the armholes bound.
I really need to begin sewing some basics I need another pair of black linen one-seam capris, and a white pair of linen one-seam capris would be nice. Also, want to make another Style Arc Abby cardi in black. I have the knit; just need to get the mojo to cut and complete. Some days the mojo is good and others......well. And, unfortunately, on the days the mojo is better, I usually have something else I have to do. Isn't that the way it goes? Oh well, all in due time.
Nice outfit! The two pieces really work together. Sewing mojo comes and goes. But, it's always waiting for us.
ReplyDeleteLinda the color of your ruffled top is great for your skin tones and just makes you glow! I need to stop worrying about hanging pictures and towel rods and sew !
