My sewing may get sidetracked

Meet the newest member of the family. We haven't decided upon a name yet, so in the meantime, she is known as sweet pea, baby, little one. She is a Rottweiler, and she will be six weeks old tomorrow. She is only 5 lbs now. She joins Bumper (who you met in a previous post) as the newest sewing companion.

Bumper loves her, but can be rough with her so the little one does have a crate. She was lonely (as could be expected) the first night here (which was Saturday) without her Mom and littermates. Thankfully, Mr. Bunny came to my rescue. This was a stuffed animal that had been packed away that I unpacked and put in the kennel with the baby. She nuzzled right into him and slept most of the night. Thank you, Mr. Bunny. Not sure if you can make him out in this photo, but he is doing his job.

In case you are wondering what a 5-day old Rottie looks like--here she is--so very tiny. This was the day that I met her at the animal hospital where I volunteer.
