Well, here it is--ready for spring and summer.

Sorry about the headless one, but the hair is REALLY bad today, and I really look sick without makeup today. I haven't gotten out of the house due to the weather. Yes, it's still cold, and we had sleet until about noon today.
Then the top. I really haven't sewn with slinky. I have a few remnants and decided to make a T. This is a pattern from PMB. It is from 2004, but I have used it several times with variations. Since I knew it would fit, I thought this would really be quick. Well, not so quick.
I cut it out with the rotary cutter. That was quick. The first serged seam (yes, I did test the fabric with the serger) kept scooting to the left. Loosened the pressure of the presser foot, but still had some problems, but it did help. The wrong side of the slinky was black, so I decided to use that as the neck binding. I used the sewing machine and zigzag stitch to sew on the binding. That went pretty well. I then turned the band to the inside and found out quickly that I needed to baste it down by hand. Then I was able to sew it down from the right side with a small zigzag stitch. Not as quick and I thought, but it IS FINISHED and ready to wear. I wanted to make 3/4 length sleeve, but not enough fabric.
Don't you think it goes well with my flannel PJ bottoms?????

P.S. I get to add 4 yards to my stash fabric sewn tracking....Yea!!!
