Ms D (Part 2)

I returned the jeans (4" shorter) and Ms. D asked me to sit down. "Did I have time to sit down for a few minutes?" she asked. Of course.

She brought out 2 dresses that she had worn that she wanted to find homes for--said she'd never wear again. One she liked; one she didn't like so much. She said working for Neimans (I'll tell you how she got there in the Part 3 post), she was able to meet some of the wonderful designers. She said to do whatever with them, even cut them up to use for other things if you wish.

Here they are:

Sleeve detail:

Back (see how well the design matches at the back zipper:

Back of skirt with the design matching perfectly:

The yellow is the one she like best

Back:

Front:

As you see, it is a dropped shoulder with a gathered sleeve.

When I got home, I searched the net to read about both designers. Not sure what to do with them yet.
