Well, I made it to Joanns yesterday. I had to go to Petsmart to pick up some dog/cat food and treats. Hancocks is in the same shopping center, so, naturally had to stop in. I had forgotten that Buttericks were .99 so I had to pick up a couple. Plus I picked up two Kwik Sew patterns, some bias tape that was 30% off, and the new Vogue magazine. So far, so good.
I went specifically to Joanns to get some pattern tracing paper using my 40% off coupon. I like the HTC "pattern maker" (I think that's what it's called). She was measuring off what was left on the bolt (13 yds) when another lady came up and asked, is the "on sale fabric really 50% off last marked price? Yes, that is correct."
Well, you guessed it, I had to go look. (Like I needed more fabric) Well.........I got 13 pieces. Can you believe it? I can't even believe it! The nerve of me!
The most I paid per yard was $2.50. I got several pieces of embroidered linen. I got some really cute flannel (for GD Christmas PJs) for $1/yd (original price had been $6.99). I'll try to get some pics and post. I'm in the middle of washing/drying it all now.
Oh, and I got some thread that was on sale - can't forget that.
Oh No! I didn't know that Butterick patterns were 99 cents or that the sale fabrics were 50 percent off! Maybe the sale ended today right? That would mean I wouldn't have to stop at Joann's on my way home from work just to "take a peek"
