DGD's "doggie pj set" ready to go in the Christmas box to mail. I've had the bottoms done for a week or so. I knew I wanted a loose top with long sleeves. I couldn't find the right pattern for the one I had imagined in my head. Then I thought, why not go look thru my old 70's 80's patterns, and here's what I found. Worked well for what I had in my head and the size was right-- size 10. No tracing since this was the day of the one-sized pattern. Sweet!
I finished it up this morning and put it my my dress form. No, DGD is smaller than me, so the top will be much more free flowing on her, but this gives you an idea. The pj bottoms are a Kwik Sew I've used for her before.
The knit top is as close to an exact match of the lighter color in the print. The knit is some of that $.50/yd I picked up a couple of weeks ago and the print is from that Joann splurge a while back.
Top for Sis is almost done. (More J's fabric) Need to hem, buttons, and buttonholes. This will go with the 24 gore skirt that is done. Photos in the next couple of days when it is complete.
