A Sale I Couldn't Pass Up

Morning!

As if I needed more fabric............... I received a postcard last week from C&C Fabrics (off Harry Hines in Dallas) that they were having a 50% OFF everything in the store this week only. Since that's where I find lots of my $1.00/yd fabric, the thought of $.50/yd fabric---what's a girl to do????? You know the rest of the story.

I called my sewing road trip friend on Saturday and we made plans for yesterday. Needless to say, we had a ball. We left the store with numerous sacks, lots of yardage, some lace and some thread. Mine is all in the laundry room now so I'll snap photos later today.

I suggested we just go ahead and stop by Walmart to pick up more storage bins (as neither of us knew just where we would store our new finds), but we were too tired. I'm going to try real hard to get some of it sewn up quickly so it doesn't have to go to the storage stash.
