Lots of this'n'that so far this week, but not lots of sewing.
Monday, I filled in for a girl at the Animal Hospital. It was a busy day. In addition to routine appointments, he had 3 horses at the clinic that were in some stage of a colic situation. Seems the horses are eating acorns that are falling profusely from the oak trees. That was the only thing the owners could think that they might have eaten out of the ordinary. All were stable when I left, and Doc was likely there most of the night monitoring them.
Yesterday, I planned to finish the 24-gore shirt for Sis, BUT my outside dogs had other ideas for me. Tank and Lola found a space along the fence line to dig out. I think (I hope) I have that placed "blocked" now so they don't get out and terrorize the cats! No one got hurt, but poor kitties were headed for the trees!
Then I started "playing" with patterns from Pattern Maker and PMB to try to perfect a bodice fit for Sis. I have three "samples" made up for her to try on this morning after we get back from Curves. I hope one of them works well.
Then, lastly, I finally bit the bullet and purchased a Uniquely You dress form this morning. It will be delivered via UPS. I hope I can get a good "fit" on it. My sewing buddy, Eve, has two of these that she "revamps" for various family members, so I'm sure she will help me if I run into a snag.
Well, need to get those exercise clothes on. If I don't post before Turkey Day, Happy Thanksgiving to all out there!
