Update

I appreciate the comments concerning our recent fire. God bless the firemen. They were all wonderful. We are very thankful.

The horses are staying up close to the barn. They won't cross the burned section to get to the back part of the property. I don't know if there is enough un-burned pasture up front for them to have enough to munch on so today I will buy some square bales of hay to supplement their grazing. I'll also up the portions of evening feed to get them past this bump in the road. Things are fine in the grand scheme of things.

Back to some sewing. I haven't gotten my brain wrapped around a big project right now, so I've played some with "baby gifts."

I had purchased some cloth diapers to "play with" and made a burp pad. I didn't take the time to embroider a picture, but did embroider the words and trim the diaper in blue bias gingham trim. I think I'll do more.



Here is one that I made a while back using flannel and finished with a serged rolled hem.



I need to do some errands today.
