The quilt is done and ready for delivery Sunday afternoon. I was able to finally sit down yesterday afternoon and finish machine quilting it. The sewing gave me some peace yesterday. I bound it this morning.
Tomorrow I'll work at the vet clinic in the morning (we are open until noon or until the waiting room is empty), and at 3 p.m. attend the memorial service for Sarah.
I couldn't concentrate to cut out the dress.
This must be so difficult for all of you at the clinic to do the things that must be done and then head to the service. I remember a dairy farmer's wife once telling how the day her husband was accidentally killed she had to somehow pull herself together to see that the herd continued to have the milkings at the regular time. Life can be really hard at times. I hope the tomorrows get easier for all of you. mssewcrazy
