Not the Finale, but I can sew again!

The guest bathroom is not completely clear yet, but the sewing room is together enough to sew again.

This is how it looks as of today.

As you enter the room:

To the immediate right is the cutting table. Under the window that faces north is my sewing machine.

On the opposite wall is the chest that holds the interfacing, tracing materials, rulers and various notions. To the right of the chest is the old Singer machine with the Babylock Evolve resting on top of the cabinet. Saphroni, the dress form, is to the left of the chest.

A different view of the entry way. Closet door is on the right in this photo and entry door on the left. This closet has shelving and stores a small portion of the stash, some books and magazines.

To the left of the sewing machine is a table with my Coverpro and my Babylock Imagine. On the west wall is the ironing board.

I'm thinking the dental cabinet will go on that west wall and the ironing board can move more to the center of the room. The mirror may go on the wall to the left of the chest (where some storage boxes are parked at the moment). I do, however, reserve the right to change my mind.

I've got three medium sized bags of fabric (and scraps) to give to a friend for one of her sewing groups. I will see her tomorrow. I've got lots of patterns that will be put in our ASG garage sale this spring. I still have patterns to sort through.

Our ASG group is planning a shopping trip tomorrow. I seriously hope that I don't find much, IF ANY, fabric that I just can live without. I'm not sure where I would put it.

A fresh clean sewing room with a floor that will let a chair roll from machine to machine- this sounds like heaven to me. You should be very proud. mssewcrazy
