Meet Roscoe, the 6 week old potbellied pig. He was in for his shots. He shares home with Otis another gown potbellied pig and 3 special needs children. They LOVE their pig pets!
This is Tim the tortoise. He was in for some type of surgery. He was staying warm in the intensive care unit that is climate controlled. I can't tell if he's happy or not. He doesn't smile much!
I didn't catch the names of this guys. They were boarding with us. I don't ususally think of rats as pets, but they are pets to one family. They have quite the cage set up don't you think? See the enclosed hammock and little tiki hut toward the top of the cage? They weren't so friendly to the staff. I think they would rather be at home.
I'll try to get photos of Hobo the monkey next time he comes in. He's quite the entertainer. He performs at birthday parties. When he's in, he entertains the waiting room folks until it's his turn in the exam room!
I sent the link to your blog to vet school daughter. I thought she might like to see the animals. The rat cage is something else. The little piggies look cute also. Thanks for sharing the animals. mssewcrazy
