Making Progress

After DH doctor appointment this a.m. I ate some lunch and headed to the sewing room.

I decided to audition some buttons for the jacket. I found this armadillo. I think he looks pretty good. I also have a black barrel button (no photo) that looks OK too. I think on it for now. I didn't get the jacket lined up correctly on Saphroni--sorry.







I managed to work on the dress too. What's left is the buttons (still trying to decide on buttons--I wish I had the correct shade of small blue buttons in my stash, but no such luck), the buttonholes, and the hem.



Looks like it will be able to make the graduation trip afterall.
