So this won't be a pictureless post, I share another iris with you. There are four blooms on this one stalk and more to come. This variety is from my late DMIL's garden. How she loved her iris!
And here is 'helpful' Harry who is always close by looking for another pat on the head!
And here is Harry's sidekick, Shaglee, wanting to share in the attention. The pup in the back is the neighbor, Puppy Love, who likes to visit at least once/day as she knows I'm always good for a milkbone!
Those are very pretty iris -I have had some blooming also. They don't get the attention they used to get when I was in my gardening phase. The kitties are sweet. We have an indoor long haired rescue kitty that is now the size of a small elephant. I got a chuckle out of the milk bone. Our two doggies have their "snack"routine down pat. They tell dh I forgot and then tell me later he forgot their "cookie". I think animals are pretty clever about their treats and knowing who is always good for one. mssewcrazy
