Well, Not much going on

I've had the BLAHS the last few days. I just couldn't get in the mood to sew an "in progress" project or start anything new.

Supplies from the Sew Much Comfort group arrived in the mail, and I have two pair of shorts cut, but I just couldn't muster the motivation to start sewing them just yet. I did sew a label (that came with the new supplies) to a shirt I had adapted. So it is finished and ready to mail.

I did start house cleaning. Why that motivation hit, I'm not sure, but I'm glad it did. So several rooms of the house look much better. I'm trying to become a real Flylady flybaby, but I've had several false starts. I did manage to throw away more than 27 items yesterday and this morning, and I have two bags for donation in the car.

This afternoon, I began to go through some of my old Sew News magazines. I put lots of them in the April ASG Garage Sale, but I've still got lots. I just stopped my subscription in October of last year. It didn't seem to meet my needs much anymore. Anyhow, back to the subject at hand. I'm tearing out any ideas/articles that I think I might use and putting them in clear page protectors. I've found about one thing per magazine that I have chosen to keep. Some of these I'm looking through now are in the 1999-2002 time frame. This effort is freeing up some much needed shelving space.

I probably need to do the same (go through and determine what I want to save) with my Burda WOF. I only took that subscription for about two or three years as I found I wasn't making that much from it.

I still have all my Threads magazines, but I still want to keep all of them.

Maybe my BLAHS will subside when I read some of your blogs!
