Sunday afternoon, I pulled out some linen/rayon that I had purchased for $1/yd and cut out Louise Cutting One Seams (long) capris and a skirt for Sis. I used Louise's method of a side hem slit on the capris. You just turn the hem up right sides together. Stitch a "v" at what would be the side seam (if one seams has a side seam). Turn rights sides out, and it's magic--you have a slit at the hem!
Also, not a great photo, but............ I'l been looking thru the stash to see if I can find some blue knit for a T to go with them.
Energy levels are down today. Blood pressure is 97/62 (very low for me). May have to ask doctor about adjusting BP meds.
Great stuff. Did you serge roll the hem of the gored skirt? I can't imagine rolling a hemmer with a narrow hemming foot on the SM with that many seams to go over!
