I had a chance today to cut out my third version of the upper front bust area adjustment of the vintage pattern in yesterday's post. It looks good to me. In this case, the third time was the charm. Now I just need to think about some stash fabric options.
I also cut Sis another dress. I've made it before so it should go pretty smooth. She just wanted a tiny bit more ease in the bust area on this one. It's from this pattern. Fabric is a nice deep blue rayon. I get a photo when it is sewn.
Remember this one, don't you? This is the 4th time I've sewn it. I have two and this will make her second one.
Yay, third time's a charm! That looks like it will be a great, breezy dress for the summer. Can't wait to see the finished product!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! That just fits you like a dream. I'm anxious to see which fabric you choose. I also like the sound of the blue rayon for your sister's dress. It is so kind of you to sew for her, too. I'm sure she appreciates it very much. I hope you can get a lot of sewing done this weekend!
