I HATE doing yokes where you sew right sides of the top yoke and then turn under and hand stitch (or machine stitch if I'm having a good day) the inside yoke to the bodice. Takes too long and too much pinning. So I finish the neck of the yoke then baste it together at the botton where it connects to the bodice and treat it as one pattern piece. I then serge the seam, press down and top stitch the seam toward the bodice. Faster and easier on my nerves! I hope you can see what I'm talking about in the following photo.
Now I must go do some errands.
That's how I do those lined yoke/bodices---like you did here.
