This is the sewing room without the bed and in major disarray and confusion!
I began rearranging and vacuuming as things were moved around. This will not be the end result as far as the arrangment goes. The vintage dresser (you can see some of it in the lower left corner of the photo) will be moved out, but I need help to do that. I'm contemplating different things now. I have an old bookcase that has glass doors. I may add it. I have a smaller bookcase that I could use.
Tonight (and not in the photo above), I have "stuff" all over the floor trying to sort. Patterns, notions, etc. YIKES. TOO MUCH STUFF!
I've come to the conlusion that some of it needs to go. I may list some vintage patterns on e-bay or offer them on Stitchers Guild. I really need get rid of a couple of sewing machines, but don't think I can let go of them right now. Maybe by the time I get the carpet up, I'll be ready. By that time, I'm sure I will have moved them numerous times to keep them out of the way!
I'm also thinking of listing some of my stash fabrics. Today, I'm in the "get rid of it all and start over!" Ever had that feeling????

Well, I'm sorry you're having to deal with all the "stuff" but it will be good when you get all the remodeling done. I'll be following the project and cheering for you when it's done!
