Cold

No, this is not sewing related. It's cold related. The temps are predicted to be mid-20's tonight. This is an attempt to protect the outside faucet from the cold AND from the (still puppy) Rottweiler. Yes, she thinks the styrofoam faucet covers are new toys. She can get them off and chewed in very short order.

My first attempt at protecting the cover, was the tomato cages alone. No match for her. She could get the cover off with the tomato cages still standing in their same positions. So, next came this "left over" planter box. So far so good. I've watched her stand by this contraption and ponder what to do next. So far, she's left it alone.

And, No, the dogs don't stay out all night. They sleep in the house (and often start out on the bed), but they do stay out some during the day - especially when the sun is shining. And it's generally a daily evening chore for me to gather the polar fleece blankets and put them back in the Igloo so they will be available for their "evacuation" (by Rottie Onyx) the following day. You out there with pets know these drills, don't you?
