Wow, it's another year! Hard to believe. In just 3 days I will have completed my first year of retirement! It went by so fast. So many of the projects I had on my "When I Retire List" still haven't been completed. Other projects took priority. Oh well, there's always a chance for this year.
Sewing down my stash didn't work as well as I had hoped. I kept buying fabric! This year I'm going to keep track (or at least try) of yards in/yards out. We will see how that goes.
Yesterday, I attended a family funeral out of town. Very taxing, but I was happy to see some family that I had not seen in many years. On Sunday afternoon I zipped out a black slinky skirt to wear with a slinky top that I made a couple of years ago. I didn't photograph it as you know how "clear" black shows up in a photo. I used the TNT Burda 4 gore skirt pattern. That pattern has become a real "go to" for me.
Today I'm tired, but I hope to get to the sewing room to do SOMETHING today.
