I was fortunate to go see this exhibition today. Three of us ASG ladies made a day of it in Dallas on the SMU campus and had a marvelous time. As instructed, none of us touched a gown one, but we were almost standing on our heads and twisting into inhuman contortions to try to see dart manipulations, zipper insertions and linings of the beautiful work. I think one of the docents thought Eve was going to climb up on the exhibit platform (but she really wasn't) and started walking toward us. None of us got "called down" thank goodness.
There were also some Oscar de la Renta's there, and I absolutely love his work.
A really fun day, but no sewing got done!
