My Lady Banks Rose bush is beginning to bloom. Unfortunately, it only blooms once. I hope it had enough rain, cold weather, etc. to have a showy bloom this year. If it does, I will take another photo and post it. Some years it can be simply breathtaking with all its yellow blooms. Right now, it has just begun.
I always love the first roses of Spring as here in central Texas, they are generally the most perfect. Too soon the bugs or black spot tend to stike (no matter how hard I try to prevent them) as the humidity and heat come on stronger.
Sewing related? No sewing yesterday. Today, I made a dress for the Rainbow Room (one of our community service project groups). It is a size 6X (from an old pattern)--does 6X even exist as a size any more????? Haven't taken a photo yet.
