Almost finished a smock today

I made a smock for my Vet's wife who is a dear friend. It buttons in the front. The only things left to do are the buttons and buttonholes. I will take it to her tomorrow, let here try it on (to see if I need to take in the side seams), and it won't take long to finish. I plan to make her 2 more for now.

She asked for solid colors so this one is sorta teal with more green - which was in my stash. Next up is maroon and then a blue. I've used this pattern alot so it is an easy sew for me. It may be OOP now, I can't find it on Simplicity or Mc Calls website. (I'm too lazy right now to go to the sewing room to get the pattern #.)

Not sure what will be up next. I saw my friend, Eve, yesterday and she sent me home with 4 pieces of fabric that she wanted to find a home for--navy border print rayon chalis, small print pink rayon crepe, red print rayon crepe, and beige linen. I think I'll use the navy border print for my sis. My stash continues to grow even when I'm not shopping!!!

Until later....
