First off, thanks to Masouma Rose for offering a possible solution (see her comments if you missed them) to my problem with my sundress "bunny ears." That gives me something to mull over.
I got the blue with white polka dot capris cut and sewed up enough for a fit test yesterday afternoon. They are fitting fine; I just need to add waist band, waist band hook or button, and hem them. I'm pleased with this pattern. It may be OOP, but I'll post the pattern pic and my finished capris in a day or so when I get photos. This might become a TNT pattern.
I hit the Hancock Butterick sale and came home with 5 patterns (and no fabric). Why 5 more patterns, I don't know. I need to come up with a set of TNT patterns and not keep buying patterns I may never use! Oh well...someday......
No rain today so the puddles are beginning to dry up, BUT more is in the forecast for the weekend.
A bit of a slow day here and no sewing going on today.
I just went through my patterns last night and took out about 18 of them. Half went in the trash and half will go to a young student. I think we buy patterns b/c they make us feel hopeful and creative. It's easier to dream up projects then to do them all...and in some ways more fun. If only there were more sewing time....
