Happy B-day, Onyx... and misc sewing

She turned 6 months old yesterday. She's quite a little girl--still chewing--mostly on things she shouldn't be chewing. Oh well, it's been a long time since we've had a puppy, and I've got stories about each one we've ever had. Tasha (doberman) liked DH's long sleeved shirts and she forced me into making many of his shirts "short sleeved" after she chewed off the cuffs. We never always figured out how she got them from the hamper when we weren't looking! Judd (rottweiler) liked electrical cords--thankfully, he never got electrocuted. Dolly (rottweiler) liked garden hoses. We found out she'd been chewing when we turned the water on and got a "sprinkler system."

I'm not sure that Onyx has a favorite--lucky us!!!!

Here's a photo of the skirt that is still in the same condition it was when I last blogged about it.

I have a white sleevless sweater that I'm hoping will be just what it needs. The fabric is almost a voile--a really light, soft cotton. I think I will enjoy this one.
