Finally, a picture

Here's a photo of my twisti top. I also made the tank top to wear under it. And to my surprise, it goes really well with the rayon batik 24-gore skirt (that still hasn't been roll hemmed yet). I only discovered this when I hung it the top on the door where the skirt was hanging. What a nice surprise!

The eyelet that I thought might work for a matching skirt is really too thin for a skirt. It is more suited to a light flowy blouse.

Had a really fun time with my cousin, Randy. We laughed lots and teared up a bit when we remembered our respective Moms and a special aunt that we dearly loved. He headed out to his reunion about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday and was to fly back to NY today. He will let us know that he got back safely.

Not much going on today. I got off to a slow start this morning. I have cut out a skirt from some fabric my friend, Eve, gave me. Using this pattern, Butterick 4520, view A.

May not start sewing on it until tomorrow.

Here are the patterns I picked up at the last Hancock's .99 sale. At least I'm using one of them!
