Zippers and thread

I decided to hit the J's 50% off thread sale, but before I got there, I decided to go to Harry Hines in Dallas to look for zippers. I had gotten so many inpirational ideas from Linda Mcghee at the Martha Pullen show. I hit the jackpot at one of the stores there. I bought 40 zippers for $8.00--the prices were 5 for $1.00. Most of them have the pulls on them already. What fun I had!

I also hit another of the stores and got several bolts of fabric (some I will share with my friend) for $1.00/yd. Two bolts are rayon/cotton, 2 are linen/rayon, and one is poly/rayon.
