The fabric from Fabric Mart arrived. Ordered 4 pieces and am happy with 3 of them. I ordered two linen/lycra pieces and two knits. One of the linen/lycra is so very stiff! It is a stripe so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. It almost feels like duck cloth, and I've washed/dried twice. It may find a new home. The other linen/lycra is WONDERFUL. The two knits, both black, are very nice. One is pant weight and one is T-shirt weight.
I think the black pant weight may become Louise Cutting's one-seams.
Thursday is the Martha Pullen Market in Arlington, Texas (about a 1-1.5 hour drive from here). I will be going. This will be my 4th or 5th year. There are always some good seminars and wonderful vendors. I always come home with more that I need. I still have stuff from last year that I haven't used, but oh well, I'll use it some day, I'm sure.
I did work on the skirt yesterday. I need to sew the yoke facing on and secure it and roll hem it. It's nice and "flowy." I hope to finish today, but I also have some errands to take care of. We'll see how it goes.
