My cousin that lives in New York City is coming to town this weekend for his Mom's side of the family "family reunion." (His dad and my mom were brother/sister.) Due to e-mail problems that I won't go into here, I just found out last night that he will be here tomorrow. Yikes--the house!!!! Yikes--gotta cook!!!
I will be really happy to see him. I haven't seen him in about 5 years. He and I had some wonderful fun times together when we were growing up.
So, this morning on the way home from Curves, I picked up a brisket, corn on the cob, pinto beans to put in the crockpot, fresh stuff for salad and Sis will make dessert. Brisket is marinating, beans are in the crock pot, potato salad is made and in the fridge, so things are under control on the food front.
Then I began to tackle the house. It is now presentable for company.
Needless to say, I didn't get a photo of my twisti top, and the sewing room was vacant today. But that's fine. Randy and I will catch up with one another, and the sewing will be waiting.
Oh, by the way, Bumper is back to her normal self. Yea!!!!
